| Willow will begin her hunt test/field trial career this Summer. She was 1 yr old this Spring and will start out running beginner to intermediate level tests/trials. I am confident she will compete well. Willow has never had any outside training. She is owned and trained solely by myself. She is 100% amateur trained. She is a vital part of the future. She has already begun her hunting career. As you can see on her photo page, she has been on quite a few hunts this Fall/Winter. She started out at 5 months old going on Blue grouse hunts in Colorado's National Forests. From there, North Dakota was a great learning experience to build on her future. She had plenty of exposure to pheasants and ducks, which helped to cultivate her into an enthusiastic hunting dog who is starting to understand her job. And, of course she hunted Colorado waterfowl in 7 below temperatures, wet and cold but still loved being there. She developed into a functional working dog by season's end. More to come soon.
UPDATE JULY 2008 7/20/08 Willow receives 4th HRC Started pass and completes SHR Title (4 for 4) 7/19/08 Willow gets 3rd leg toward HRC Started Hunter Title
